Disneyland Paris is celebrating its 20^th anniversary this year, impressing the visitors with a whole year of special events and new surprises. According to its official website, Disneyland Park will extend its opening hours throughout the year. The main event Disney Dreams has been up and running since April. This is a magical new nighttime spectacle, telling some of the greatest Disney stories, by featuring HD projections, fountains, fire, lasers and numerous other special effects. The performance is on every night of the year and is said to be the park’s landmark entertainment event.

Operating since 1992 as the second Disney resort opened outside the United States, Disneyland Paris now is the most visited themed attraction in France and Europe. It is located in Marne-la-Vallée, a new town in eastern suburbs of Paris, about 32 km from the center of Paris. There are many organized tours that go directly to the destination, but you can also rent a car and travel at your own leisure. As for parking, if you stay in a hotel near the resort, mostly you can park in the parking lot of the accommodation, and then take a shuttle bus or subway to the park. In some hotels such as Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch, you can park for free at the Disney Park as a guest of the hotel, but there is no public transport connection, so your own vehicle is needed.
